We Stayed Friday to Monday ,.the lodge was perfect for us to chill out .very clean and comfortable .response to enquiries was great . .

We stayed here the first week in September for 4 nights. The instructions we received for entry to the lodge were comprehensive and easy to follow. The lodge was lovely and warm when we entered and everything was immaculate. Only slight problem of not having towels left but a quick phone call to the owner rectified the problem within a few minutes. Slight oversight by busy staff. Wifi and tv were excellent. Lots of playstation games available if you are interested in that sort of thing. Unfortunately we did not use the hot tub as the weather had changed and we did not feel it was warm enough. I did lift the lid to test the water which was warm and we noticed a member of staff checking it twice during our stay. The only improvement I think would be to upgrade the outside furniture as the metal chairs and table are not particularly comfortable if you wanted to sit outside on a nice summer day.

Stayed here for Easter weekend, Friday to Monday. Lodge was spacious and clean. Wifi not the best but allowed internet access for the basics. Hot tub was great and private enough not to be overlooked like others on the site. It’s a quiet park with a small play area for the kids. Didn’t really use the bar area so can’t comment on that. There is no local taxi company. The nearest is in Morpeth, who wanted £25 for a 2 mile journey! Couldn’t walk to where we were going as we’d have been walking up the grass verge of the A1!
All in all, a great stay with great hosts. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely break from Thursday - Sunday. Lodge was absolutely spotless. So cosy, had a lovely feel to it as soon as we walked in. Very secure for the dog with high fences especially when your in the hot tub! So much entertainment in the lodge, games etc in the cupboard and even a PlayStation and books etc. Would highly recommend!! We can’t wait to book up again! 😀

Amazing place! A little piece of gem within the UK. Near by sandy beaches, beautiful water, places to go for walks and the harbour is a must see. The Lodge was very cosy and clean and the hot tub was a bonus. I would definitely come back here again with the children.

This cute and cosy lodge situated in a tranquil park within quick access to some great days out was an ideal long weekend getaway. Within a short drive we could enjoy the delights of Amble Harbour and also Druridge Bay, a gorgeous sandy beach that the kids utterly loved! Thanks to our lovely hosts, nothing was too much trouble and the lodge had absolutely everything we could need... the hot tub was just the cherry on the top at the end of an action-packed day. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely relaxing getaway. The lodge is well equipped, loved the hot tub, and has everything you need including outside space for the dogs. The site is very peaceful and the shop/bar is run by a very friendly couple. My family and I will definitely be going back.

Absolutely perfect! The lodge was great, had everything we needed :-) the hot tub was so relaxing, all based on a great site and location. The little pub/shop onsite is good, has lots of little things what you may have forgotten, drinks are reasonably priced too. Wonderful weekend break, would definitely recommend and will be returning :-)

Absolutely loved the lodge, very homely and fully equipped. The hot tub is the icing on the cake. Definitely returning next year
